Beehive Vets is an independent, family-run clinic (not a corporate chain) that treats dogs, cats and rabbits and highlights a “cat-friendly” setup with separate cat waiting and ward areas (iCatCare Cat-Friendly accredited, Gold). From both the website and recent reviews, it appears set up for routine preventative care (vaccinations, consults, parasite control), diagnostics (in-house testing, imaging and scans), and surgery (including laparoscopic spays and orthopaedic procedures).
Recent reviewers describe being booked in promptly for urgent concerns, having tests and a scan done within the appointment, and getting straightforward explanations of options and prognosis. One owner also specifically appreciated that they weren’t pushed into buying products or having unnecessary tests, alongside receiving up-to-date advice on vaccination, neutering and diet.
Based on the clinic website and the latest reviews, services mentioned include

We visited here for our pups 2nd vaccination. After trying vets in our local area this one was able to provide it and saved me the journey back to Wales. I was so impressed by the appearance of the vets, how friendly the vet and receptionist was I decided to register and move vets to this one. There was no forcing of buying products or unnessessary tests etc. We were provided with upto date information regarding vaccination and neuturing aswell as diet. Just very nice, friendly and overall calming nature about this practice.

Best vets I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. After having been let down by our usual vets - claiming that our dog didn’t sound emergent enough, I asked for recommendations of another and Beehive was named by so many. With that I rang them and explained our girls symptoms (I was listened to very attently) and asked if they had an appointment open - they did, and they happily booked her in. Within the appointment tests were run and a scan was had and it turned out that our girl had a mass and internal bleeding. Things weren’t looking good at all. I asked for the options to be put across and her chances as bluntly as possible - which they did, but with nothing but love and care laced throughout. With this, I asked if it was possible to bring her home so she could be assisted with crossing the rainbow bridge. They sought a company which was able to do it on a Friday evening, and had already filled them in in anticipation of my call - this made it so much lighter on me. Throughout all of this I had my two children with me, the lady on reception (I stupidly didn’t get her name) occupied them - she really went above and beyond to do this. I cannot thank her enough for that. Olivia, our vet, showed us so much love and compassion, I cannot praise her professionalism and humanity enough. To the team, thank you. Thank you for accommodating us, thank you for being there when we had already been let down. Because of you, you allowed our girl to not suffer and to meet her end with love and kindness. For that, we are beyond thankful ❤️
